Ebisu's is an international group house named for the Japanese god of prosperity, located on picturesque stone steps on the beautiful Yoshida hillside, close to Kyoto University (Kyoto Daigaku), Yoshida Shrine, Heian Jingu Shrine, and the Kyoto Handicraft Center. It is also just a short walk to The Philosopher's Path, which starts at the famous Ginkakuji (the Silver Pavillion). From Ebisu's Kyoto, you can easily explore the 17 UNESCO-designated World Cultural Heritage sites within Kyoto.
Check out Life at Ebisu's for information about the Ebisu's experience, About Ebisu's for room rates, availability and a description of facilities at Ebisu's, and look at our Photos and our Links for travellers to, and temporary residents, of Japan!
